As stated above, it is on the perimeter of Äkäslompolo, located about 500 meters from Kesänki Lake. The view of the rounded moor-covered hills is impregnable.
During winter, on the southeast corner of the house is a completely white scenery as far as the eye can see. On the north side, the chalet is enclosed by pine trees. Situated at the end of a dead-end street, the Usva chalet is one of an ensemble of four situated at the extreme end of the town. There is no traffic. There are no snowmobiles that will come to interrupt the perfect stillness of the situation. For cross-country skiers, it is paradise. A hundred meters from the house you will find a cross-country trail that gives you access to the largest network of trails in Lapland, with approximately 360 kilometers groomed for both classic and skate skiing.
