Even though Äkäslompolo is small, there is a large supermarket well adapted to the needs of all of our visitors in the chalet. It is open 7 days a week from 8 in the morning to 9 at night and this without interruption. You will find whatever you need, believe us.
In the center of the village, there are two sporting good stores. They rent alpine and cross-country skis and sell the necessary clothing and accessories, including different waxes for Nordic skiing.
You will also find a small bread store as well as a boutique with typical Finish products, including reindeer skins, Lapland knives, and dried reindeer meat.
Lest we forget, there is a pharmacy and a medical center in the heart of the village.
